Isolation hasn’t been too bad. No lunches, dinners and parties has made my job more straight forward than ever and, for the last few weeks I’ve had this lovely view of Dublin as my companion while I work. Nine months into it, I’m realizing how much I miss the connections made over coffees and the conspiratorial chats in the dive bar down the road.

Back when I was a kid I hated techno music, then when I came to America I lived with a Dutch guy for a year and gradually it just sunk into my conscious. These days when concentration is hard to come by I find there is a an elemental and ethereal beauty to it that’s gets me in to the focus groove like nothing else. This one goes out to my Dutch brother from another mother. Just bang it on shuffle and get to work.
